Ceremony Directions

Legend

  • Ceremony Venue (Red)

  • Bathrooms (Yellow)

  • Path to Venue (Blue)

  • Parking (Green)

Two main paths enter the park. The path nearest the parking lot is a less direct route to the ceremony location. The path painted in blue in the photo above is the same path painted in blue in the aerial view.

The ceremony is at a public park with the Rookery (circled red in the aerial view above) as our reserved space. Parking is limited, so consider walking/biking, carpooling, or using a rideshare service to get there. There is another park, Ann Morrison Park, across the road with additional parking. If you’re up for it, walking to Barbarian for the reception takes about half an hour and the majority of it takes you along the Greenbelt, a gorgeous paved path shouldering the Boise River. There are usually Lime scooters around in Ann Morrison Park, as well.

Where to Stay

Hotels & AirBnBs

We suggest staying in the downtown area or in Garden City to be close to the best Boise has to offer.

Regarding AirBnB’s, there are too many variables to provide a recommendation. If you’re going this route, please feel free to reach out to us if you have questions regarding location/neighborhood.

What to Do

Activities in the Boise Area

Boise is tucked into the Treasure Valley area of Idaho. For those staying downtown, most things will be within walking distance and a rental car is likely not needed. Most hotels offer an airport shuttle and the occasional Uber/Lyft will be reasonably priced.

EAT & DRINK

Many of Boise’s best restaurants are in the downtown area. Below, we’ve put together a list of our favorites to help you get the local experience. Wherever possible, the establishment’s website is linked so you can preview menus and whatnot.

EXPLORE & PLAY

The Treasure Valley (and Idaho in general) is known for how much it offers outdoors enthusiasts. From trails in the foothills to fishing in the nearby reservoirs, there is something for everyone. Local theaters, lounges, and drag shows are some of the cultural offerings. Of course, there are some museums, too! Boise is also home to several beautiful parks and the greenbelt - a walkway along the river - where you can enjoy a casual walk or bike ride.
