  • Fancy Casual

    Wear something comfortable that makes you feel nice! Lots of flexibility if you want to be on the fancier or more casual side! And if needed, looking up Fancy Casual online can give you some more ideas. Early June in Boise is usually nice (High of 77 / Low of 54). We’re hoping for good weather, but it could go any way (cold/hot/rainy). The ceremony will be outdoors (mostly covered) and the reception area will be indoors with a potential outdoor area. We recommend looking at the weather report during the week of the events. Lastly, it’s unlikely we will have a dance floor so shoes don’t need to be dance ready.

  • Kids are welcome to (almost) all the events! However, the reception will be in a brewery production area that isn’t designed for child safety. Running in the production area or touching equipment/racking is prohibited! Feel free to bring games, toys, etc. for you and your little ones! Weather permitting, we are planning on having outdoor area for kiddos/adults who want to get out some energy!

  • The ceremony location is a public park with the Rookery as our reserved space. Parking is limited, so consider walking/biking, carpooling, or using a rideshare service to get there. There is another park, Ann Morrison Park across the road with additional parking. If you’re up for it, walking to Barbarian for the reception takes about half an hour and the majority of it takes you along the Greenbelt, a gorgeous paved path shouldering the Boise River. There are usually Lime scooters around in Ann Morrison Park, as well.

  • Entrees:

    • Shared Bread Basket: Assorted fresh baked focaccia, artisan loaves & baguettes + rolls w/ herbed olive oil (GF rolls also available)

    • Signature Salad w/ gorgonzola cheese, candied walnuts, fresh berries & honey-balsamic vinaigrette (GF, Vegan w/ gorgonzola on side, walnuts will be on the side)

    Dessert:

    • Wedding Cake!! - lemon cake w/ huckleberry frosting & Guinness chocolate cake w/ strawberry frosting
